Patrick Mahomes wins the second Super Bowl in his career after just five seasons as the starter for the Kansas City Chiefs.

He’s been nothing short of amazing and is in the prime of his career.

However, it sounds like he might already be garnering Hall of Fame buzz after winning his second title.

Peyton Manning had some nice things to say about the Chiefs’ quarterback. He believes that Mahomes would already be a Hall of Famer if he retired right now, per TMZ.

Now, some may think this doesn’t matter or doesn’t mean much. But it’s hard to ignore someone of Manning’s caliber making these claims.

Especially considering it feels like Patrick Mahomes is just getting started. He’s already been to three Super Bowls and has won two of them at just 27 years old.

On top of that, he has as many rings as Peyton Manning, who is considered by many as one of the all-time greats. On top of that, Mahomes is the only active quarterback in the league right now who has multiple Super Bowl wins under his belt.

Manning recognizes all of these things and it’s hard to argue against Patrick Mahomes’ accolades.

He’s still far away from catching up to Tom Brady, so we’ll shelve those talks for now. Regardless, it’s pretty clear that Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback in the league currently.

Even so, there aren’t many other quarterbacks in the league right now that stack up to Mahomes. You could argue Aaron Rodgers due to his longevity, but the Chiefs quarterback quickly surpassed his ring total.

Look for Mahomes to just continue adding on top of what is arguably already a Hall of Fame career.
