Lucas Glover is the PGA Tour’s hottest player at the best possible time.

Glover, 43, won the Wyndham Championship a week ago to jump from No. 112 in the FedEx Cup standings to within the top 70, qualifying him for the playoffs which began this past week.

It was just the fifth win of for US Open champion’s career.

But that number didn’t take long to change.

Glover carried his fantastic play into this past weekend’s FedEx St. Jude Championship and won yet another tournament, this time against an absolutely loaded field.

This win moved from No. 49 in the standings all the way to No. 4, giving him a good shot at winning the whole thing in two weeks and taking home $18 million.

For comparison’s sake, Glover won $1.35m when he won the 2009 US Open at Bethpage Black.

His resurgence is nothing short of remarkable.

And yet as he finished up his round on Sunday, one that went to playoff against Patrick Cantlay, no one was focused on Glover’s play.

They were took distracted by something else.

Glover had some out of control swamp butt that started early in the round and never let up.

Now, look, there’s not a guy alive who hasn’t dealt with this sort of situation. And temperatures crept into the 90s all week, peaking on Sunday at 94.

But this was some next-level sweating. So much so that it just couldn’t ignored.

For every tweet about Glover’s remarkable play, there were seemingly three more about the ocean that was quickly forming in his pants.

And honestly, credit to him for being able to focus in what was very clearly an extremely uncomfortable situation.

But it’s just hard to see how he lives this down. He’s going to be know as the swamp a** guy the rest of his career.

Though that’s nothing $18 million and US Open victory can’t fix.
