Phil Mickelson and Grant Horvat, who is arguably the most influential golfer in the YouTube Golf world, were recently partners in ‘The Duels’ which paired LIV Golf stars with YouTube golf influencers. They are also partners on a new 2v2 series on YouTube which pits them against other star-studded teams like Jon Rahm and Josh Allen.
Now the two are becoming partners off the field. Today, Phil Mickelson announced he had made Grant Horvat a partner in For Wellness by surprising Grant with equity while the two were hitting balls on the range.
For Wellness was launched by Phil Mickelson in September 2020 along with his longtime friend Dave Phillips, the man Phil credits with introducing him to the benefits of coffee as a wellness source. Mickelson said at the time that “coffee has changed my life. I have made it the foundation of my overall health and wellness.” It cannot be understated how big it will be for the company to bring Grant Horvat into the fold.
The announcement from Phil Mickelson came their latest 2v2 video which dropped on Grant Horvat’s YouTube channel where Phil Mickelson and Grant Horvat, who are now officially For Wellness partners, take on Jon Rahm and Bills QB Josh Allen.
That video only features the front-9. It’s a tough look for Mickelson and Horvat being down to Jon Rahm and an NFL quarterback but they are only 1 down after 9 and there are plenty of birdies to be found on the back-9 if you know where to look.
As for Grant’s stake in For Wellness, that is unclear at the moment but all indications point to booming business these days. ‘The Good Stuff’ coffee booster comes in ‘Focus’ and ‘Performance‘ formulas with an array of flavors to choose from.
For Wellness is also offering a line of Recovery Gummies, Superfood Bites, and Organic Arabica Ground Coffee.
