In the 5 years since he began his NFL career, football fans have become very familiar with Dallas Goedert’s main talent.

Despite spending most of his career battling Zach Ertz for snaps and targets, Goedert has been a consistent weapon for the Philadelphia Eagles for the last 5 seasons.

In those 5 years, Goedert has made 248 catches for 2997 yards and has taken big strides the past two years.

In 2021, Goedert was 5th in the league in receiving yards for a tight end with 830. Last season he was 7th with 702 despite missing 5 games.

Now he’ll head into the 2023 season healthy and hoping to work his way back into that top 5, but before he gets to begin that trying to ascend the ladder at tight end, he decided to reveal a unique talent he possesses.

During an appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast, Goedert revealed that riding unicycles is a talent that runs in his family.

I’m sure Eagles fans will be hoping that Goedert stays off of his unicycle during the 2023 just in case. A unicycle-related injury would be a pretty unfortunate way for his pursuit of a spot as a top 5 tight end to get derailed.

These kinds of other talents are starting to seem to be common among Philadelphia Eagles players.

AJ Brown was a baseball player who actually signed with the San Diego Padres while he was in college.

Jordan Mailata was a contestant on The Masked Singer and managed to make it through a couple of episodes before being eliminated.

The Eagles also released a Christmas album featuring Mailata, Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, and Conor Barwin.

Dallas Goedert is just the latest example of the defending NFC Champs being good at things other than football.
