The Philadelphia Phillies absolutely dominated the Atlanta Braves in game three of the NLDS, 10-2, to take a 2-1 series lead. And, Phillies fans made sure the Atlanta Braves and their fans felt some pain during the blowout.

Phillies fans mocked the infamous “chop” chant done in Atlanta as the game was well out of hand. It’s the kind of passive-aggressive humor that Philadelphia fans are known for.

This came after a controversial finish to game 2. After Phillies star Bryce Harper was picked off trying to tag up following a great catch at the wall by Braves center fielder Michael Harris to end the game, Braves infielder Orlando Arcia was allegedly caught mocking Harper in the clubhouse after the game.

But, the Phillies and Harper responded in a big way back at home at Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday. Harper led the way with two home runs to break the game wide open. This came after he wore A Deion Sanders shirt to the ballpark along with teammate Nick Castellanos, who also homered.

The chop is controversial, though, with many considering the chop to be racist towards Native Americans. And, the wife of injured Phillies slugger Rhys Hoskins, Jayme Hoskins would like Phillies fans to not do that anymore.

What she would like the Phillies to keep doing is winning games. They’re one win away from eliminating the Braves for the second year in a row, and have a shot to do just that on Thursday back in Philadelphia.
