Things got a little heated between the Cubs and Pirates during tonight’s NL wildcard playoff game after Pirates reliever Tony Watson plunked Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta who had hit two Pirates earlier in the game.
The benches cleared after Arrieta was hit but nothing really happned except Pirates’ Sean Rodriguez was ejected for throwing a punch. After he was ejected, Rodriguez proceeded to take out his frustrations on a Gatorade cooler in the dugout.
