According to CardPlayer.com, the player has cashed in around $10 million lifetime in live tournaments, but that figure doesn't factor in buy-ins and his online troubles—meaning it's possible he's lost more than he's made as a pro. (Kind of hilariously, Hansen is FullTilt's “brand ambassador.” No favoritism there.)
I find this fascinating. Gambling is no bullshit. You can lose your livelihood playing the game straight-up. What other sport can say that?
