President Donald Trump continued to reflect on his time with New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart this week. On Thursday, Trump said he thinks Dart could be a “male model” and that he asked the second-year signal-caller how he’d fare playing women’s sports.
During a recent scrum with reporters in the Oval Office, President Trump again brought up New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart — who had recently created a controversy by introducing the President at a public appearance — and recalled asking the QB, who he thinks could be a “male model,” how he’d fare if he played women’s sports.
President Trump called Jaxson Dart a male model for the second time while revealing he asked the QB how’d he fare in women’s sports
“The quarterback Jaxson was the quarter— is the quarterback for the Giants. He’s a big, strong guy,” Trump said. “And I said, ‘How do you think you do in women’s sports, Jaxson?’ He said, ‘Pretty good, sir.’ He didn’t know I was joking. He was not worried. Let me put it that way.”
“He would have been the greatest athlete in the history of women’s sports. You got to see the size of this guy, like a male model, and he’s going to be a great quarterback.”

This is actually the second time that Trump publicly discussed the fact that he thinks Dart could be a male model.
“I wish I looked just like Jaxson. This is a guy. I said, is he a male model or what? He’s a handsome guy, like a beautiful guy and, you know, conservative guy. He said, I love you, sir,” he told Fox News back in late May.
When asked about his decision to introduce Trump at a rally, Dart leaned on his appreciation for the military and respect for the office of the Presidency while avoiding getting into policy specifics.
Trump’s apparent affinity for Dart isn’t his only foray into New York City sports this week, as he also announced he’ll be attending Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Monday, June 8.
