Last night, Jessica Mendoza became the first female to call an ESPN MLB postseason game as an analyst during the AL Wild Card Game:
Many applauded ESPN and Mendoza but of course there were some detractors like this radio host from Atlanta who went on a sexist rant on Twitter during the game.
Bell eventually apologized for calling Mendoza “Tits Mcgee”
But then continued on his rant about Mendoza being unqualified for the job.
@bexangell that's there a few hundred ball players that because of their actual MLB experience were more qualified to be the analyst

@y_wheezyt using female broadcasters who never played the sport as color analysts, that would be a feminist agenda

For what it’s worth, unlike Bell, I thought Mendoza was excellent last night and hope she gets brought on more often in the future.
