The Raiders aren’t looking to trade their star wide receiver, Davante Adams, despite all the recent talk about team frustrations, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Adams seems to be a supporter of rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell, the report says he’s a “Big believer” in him. O’Connell got the nod to start against the Chargers this past Sunday, filling in for the injured veteran Jimmy Garoppolo.

O’Connell could be a promising option down the road for the Raiders.

In his report, Fowler said that while Adams has been a popular name in trade speculations, what he’s hearing has always been that he’s in it for the long haul in Vegas. That’s been the plan since he arrived in 2022.

So, unless something’s changed behind the scenes, it doesn’t seem like Adams is itching to leave.

Speaking of O’Connell, he had a bit of a rollercoaster ride in the lost to the Chargers on Sunday.

He threw 24 of 39 passes for 238 yards, managed to rush for a touchdown, but also threw an interception. Plus, he took quite a few hits, with Khalil Mack sacking him a solid half a dozen times.

While the 1-3 Raiders look like a mess from the outside, at least it seems Adams will stick around long-term.
