The Raiders went to 2-3 after beating the Packers 17-13 last Monday Night, a much needed win after losing three straight games following their opening week win over the Broncos.

However, coach Josh McDaniels isn’t out of the woods yet, according to TheAthletic’s Dianna Russini, “There have been whispers” around the NFL that Josh McDaniels’ job could be in trouble if Las Vegas doesn’t start winning.

During that three-game losing streak, McDaniels made a lot of bonehead decisions, none bigger than kicking a field goal from the redzone on fourth down against the Steelers while needing a touchdown towards the end of the game.

McDainels signed a 4-year contract worth $10 million a season last year and failed to produce. He took a team that made the playoffs with an interim head coach the previous year and is now only 8 and 14 with it.

Will the Raiders make a move mid-season to fire McDaniels? that seems unlikely but apparently people around the league are talking about it.
