Rajon Rondo missed the start of the Lakers season due to a calf strain and since returning over the team’s last five games he’s done some good things and some not so good things.

One positive is that Los Angeles is 5-0 when Rondo sees the court. He put together an eight-point, 10 assist game against the Thunder on Nov. 19 as well, but when the Thunder came to town three days later on Friday night Rondo did a not so great thing.

Early on in the fourth quarter with his team up four, Rondo appeared to have a Draymond Green-like leg spasm causing his leg to find Dennis Schroder’s balls. It wasn’t a spasm, that’s obviously a joke, Rondo simply decided to catch Schroder below the belt which resulted in an ejection.

It’s such an odd thing when we see veteran players like Rondo do stupid stuff like that, but then against it’s also entertaining for everyone not named Dennis Schroder.

Rondo wasn’t done with the theatrics at that point though.

After the referee tossed him from the game, his teammates had to give him a little extra guidance toward the tunnel and he decided to shout at the ref. You can very clearly see what Rondo chose to call him.

Yep, that’ll be a fine, for sure.

The Lakers went on to win the game 130-127 keeping their unbeaten streak alive whenever Rondo sees the floor. Los Angeles is now a league-best 13-2 and winners of six straight.
