NBC rules analyst Terry McAulay believes the refs may have gotten a crucial play wrong in the Rams-Broncos game.
Late in the fourth quarter, Rams CB Josh Wallace intercepted Broncos QB Box Nix, but the call was overturned after Wallace was penalized for defensive pass interference.
The Broncos scored a go-ahead touchdown a few plays later, which would decide the game.

After the play, NBC’s McAulay believes Wallace did not commit pass interference.
“We actually see the receiver grab the defender and pull him in. I don’t see anything the defender does that would significantly hinder the receiver on this play.”
“Even this first part, it’s hands on him, he doesn’t do anything with it.”
