Raven Johnson Mocks Caitlin Clark While Facetiming Angel Reese After National Championship Win

South Carolina’s Raven Johnson got the last laugh against Caitlin Clark.

Last year, Clark went viral when she mocked Johnson and waved her off when Johnson was about to shoot a three-pointer.

This year, Johnson played lockdown defense against Clark with several pivotal defensive plays that helped South Carolina win the National Championship on Sunday.

During her postgame press conference, Johnson spoke about her defense on Clark.

“Don’t let her score. I was ready for the moment,” Johnson said. “And I take defense very hard, like I take it to heart. I studied her moves, and I was ready. I had confidence this year. I was telling myself last year’s not going to happen again.”

After the game, Johnson posted a photo of herself facetiming Angel Reese with the caption “that get back a MF”

In her very next Instagram story, Johnson reposted an ESPN photo that highlighted her defense on Clark with the caption “seatbelt.”
