Former NFL running back Ray Rice made a nostalgic return to the Baltimore Ravens’ practice field after a decade-long absence.

Rice, a prominent figure in the Ravens’ history,  observed the team’s training camp session on Thursday.

Once a prominent figure in the Ravens’ history, Rice’s return garnered significant attention as he took on the role of an observer during the practice session.

The former star running back’s attendance at the training camp on Thursday was a surprise to many, considering his absence from professional football following his domestic violence charges nearly a decade ago.

Notably,Ray Rice was not there in a playing capacity. Rather, he appeared as a youth football coach, leading his team to witness the intricacies of an NFL team’s practice session, according to The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec.

The Ravens’ training camp atmosphere seemed to embrace Rice’s return, with fans and players acknowledging his significance to the team’s history.

Alongside Ray Rice, former long-time running back Marshawn Lynch was also in attendance, adding to the intrigue of the day’s events.
