Pretty interesting move by Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher. As part of his pre-season speaker series to the team, he brought in disgraced former NFL running back Ray Rice, who was dropped from the league after a chilling video of a domestic violence incident hit the Internet.
Rice lays out his current situation bluntly to the FSU team: “I’m not playing football, not because I’m not good enough, but because I made the biggest mistake.”
I don’t think anyone is going to be crying crocodile tears for Ray Rice any time soon. But hopefully those young minds in Tallahassee are paying attention to just how much the dude screwed his life and career up.
