It’s been a rough season for Redskins head coach Jay Gruden.
Earlier today it was reported by the Washington Post that there was major tension inside the Redskins locker room after it was revealed that Gruden didn’t to draft Dwyane Haskins and Haskins knows it.

A person with knowledge of Gruden’s thinking has confirmed that the head coach did not want Haskins, and while Haskins has publicly downplayed any suggestion that he wasn’t Gruden’s choice, a person close to the rookie quarterback said that Haskins has sensed that to be the case,”
Gruden went on to name Colt McCoy over Haskins this afternoon despite all the turmoil.

After Gruden named his starter, two videos leaked online that appear to show Gruden smoking what looks like a joint while flirting with a young woman outside of a bar.

The Redskins were asked about the videos but declined to comment.
I reached out to the Redskins about the videos circulating online that appear to be Jay Gruden. The team has declined to comment.

According to Pro Football Talk, some people in league circles believe the videos were leaked intentionally by somebody within the Redskins organization so that Gruden could be terminated without team paying him the rest of his contract.
Some in league circles wonder whether the team leaked the videos as a precursor to a potential termination of Gruden with cause, which would allow the team to fire him without paying the balance of his salary.
There’s a good chance Gruden gets canned this week if the Redskins lose to the Patriots and go 0-5.
