On Wednesday, the Minnesota Timberwolves stunned the Los Angeles Lakers in Los Angeles, winning the series 4-1 after beating the Lakers 103-96 in yet another close game between these two teams. The season for LeBron James and Luka Doncic is over.

Much of the conversation on social media centered around NBA legend and TNT color commentator Reggie Miller. Miller, who was on the call alongside play-by-play man Kevin Harlan, was ridiculed for his work on Wednesday by plenty of fans of both teams.

Miller has been calling games for TNT since his retirement for the Pacers beginning in 2005. And, normally he’s pretty good with a lot of insight as a player that played in a ton of big games. He can sometimes be a bit edgy and get on the wrong side of fan bases, but overall, he’s pretty solid. And, he’s set to move to NBC next season as TNT loses rights to NBA games and NBC gets them.

The two of them were on the call for Wednesday night’s huge game, and Reggie just couldn’t stop making people mad. He was all over the place on Wednesday night, and had no timing or chemistry with Harlan, often talking over him during live play.

Unfortunately for these fans, Miller will be calling the rest of the playoffs with Harlan, I believe. He has plenty of big games coming up, that’s for sure.
