According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski the Warriors fear that Cousins may have torn his quad.

If Cousins did indeed injure his quad he could be out for most of the playoffs.
By video, appears to be a quad injury.
If quad muscle tear, tough but not imposible to return late playoffs.
If quad tendon tear (central slip), could be in line for surgery. https://t.co/C8Jm3DAIC9— David J. Chao – ProFootballDoc (@ProFootballDoc) April 16, 2019
Able to walk off as not complete tear and he is tough. The way he goes down without contact with leg giving out seems to indicate significant injury.
