Maybe the NFL isn’t so tone deaf after-all.
During last night’s Cowboys-Bucs Sunday Night Football game, Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was penalized for celebrating by jumping into a Salvation Army kettle early in the second quarter.
Zeke made an important contribution for the @dallascowboys tonight. Can you contribute to the millions in need? https://t.co/zwJrWxPYLj pic.twitter.com/12zBHxczIz

According to Ian Rappoport, Elliott will not be fined by the NFL for the celebration that brought attention to the charity.

Finally, some common sense from the NFL.
