WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair filed a $10 million lawsuit against an “influencer talent agency” he says tricked him out of the rights to his digital identity.

The “Nature Boy” claims FAM Networks deceitfully persuaded him to sign a contract that failed to deliver what they promised.

Although the contract states it was drafted with counsel, the lawsuit claims Ric Flair signed the deal in December 2025 without a lawyer reviewing it, and that FAM knew this, according to The Independent.

“What FAM did was simple: it waited until he needed help managing the digital legacy of everything he had built, presented him with a document he was not equipped to understand, told him he had lawyers when he did not, gave him fourteen minutes to read it, and walked away with a perpetual license to his identity,” the lawsuit reads.

The 77-year-old Flair added in the lawsuit that the pending legal action is only “the beginning.” He told The Independent that he “wants to bury” the people at FAM Networks and said he has lost at least $250,000 in revenue so far.

According to the complaint, FAM offered Ric Flair speaking engagements and appearances, with 90% of the fees paid directly to him. FAM also promised to pay Flair 50% for “collaborative projects,” 10% for “passive content,” and six figures each month to get his “hacked, demonetized” Facebook page up and running.

“FAM delivered none of them,” the lawsuit claims. “It sourced not one speaking engagement. Not one in-person appearance. Not one personal project at the ninety percent royalty tier. It reposted existing content.”

Ric Flair says the lawsuit is just the beginning

“The Nature Boy is not finished. The case has just begun,” the lawsuit states.

“I spent more than forty years building the name Ric Flair, with my body, my blood, and everything I had,” he said in a text message. “For decades, to be the man, you had to beat the man. FAM hasn’t beaten me. I trusted the wrong people to help me help manage that legacy. They overpromised and underdelivered after taking control that was never theirs to take and thought it was the whole match.

“I built this name, I earned this name, and I’m going to fight to take it back,” he continued. “I’m also doing this for every performer and public figure who’s ever been handed a contract like this one. Wooooo!”

Flair is asking for the agreement with FAM to rescinded, control of his Facebook page returned to him, a declaratory judgment stating that FAM has no right to his name, image, or likeness, and for a “complete accounting of revenues generated in his name.”

He is also demanding compensatory damages, among other things, of at least $5 million for breach of contract as well as compensatory and punitive damages of at least $5 million. Ric Flair also wants any money that FAM unjustly enriched itself with at his expense, as well as attorneys’ fees and court costs.
