Richard Sherman and Doug Baldwin of the Seattle Seahawks put the NFL on blast in a press conference skit that mocked the NFL for the hypocrisy of their policies and sponsors after the fining of Marshawn Lynch. The hilarious skit involved a carboard cut-out of Doug Baldwin voiced by the actual Doug Baldwin standing behind it responding to Richard Sherman’s criticism of the NFL.
Sherman ended up taking shots on NFL’s hypocritical player safety policy that requires players to play two games in five days, the NFL’s absurd media availability policies and the NFL’s stance on sponsorship that allows the league to talk and profit from their sponsors but doesn’t allow the players to do the same.
