Taking to Twitter on Wednesday evening, future Hall of Fame tight end Rob Gronkowski made waves in the NFL world with three simple words:”I’m kinda bored.”
The 33-year-old Gronkowski, who retired for the second time following the conclusion of last season, has played his entire career with Tom Brady, who could really use his help right now.
I’m kinda bored 😐…

Despite their 6-8 record, Tom Brady and the Bucs are still on course to win the NFC South division and qualify for the NFC Playoffs, which means Gronk — if he *were* to return, which is merely speculation at this stage — would have a little less than a month to get in shape for the playoffs.
Given Gronk’s excellence on the field and enthusiastic personality off of it, NFL fans were obviously hyped at the potential of Brady’s former right-hand man returning for one final ride (even if it isn’t with TB12 and the Bucs).

A four-time Super Bowl champion (three with New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Bucs), Gronk was drafted out of the University of Arizona as the 42nd overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. He then spent eight seasons in New England playing under Bill Belichick before retiring in 2018.
Two years later, in 2020, Gronk unretired to join up with Brady in Tampa Bay.
