Rockets’ James Harden, Chris Paul, Trevor Ariza, And Gerald Green Went Looking To Beat Up Austin Rivers After Game

Things got really chippy between the Rockets and the Clippers tonight in Chris Paul’s return to Los Angles. Blake Griffin and Chris Paul jawed at each other all night and Austin Rivers entered the fray late in the game when he got into it with Trevor Ariza on the sidelines.

Griffin was ejected late in the game for jawing at Trevor Ariza and things apparently got heated in the locker room when four Rockets players went looking to fight Clippers players after the game.

Houston Rockets’ players James Harden, Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green pushed into Clippers locker room post-game looking to confront Austin Rivers, league sources tell ESPN. Security escorted Rockets out before anything turned physical

Rockets players were clamoring for Blake Griffin too, league sources said. Chris Paul also entered with other Rockers players through a backstory that connects team dressing rooms.

Apparently Rockets center Clint Capela was sent in as a diversion to distract Clippers players while the other Rockets came around the back of the locker room.

Sources: As the four Rockets marched through the back hallway into the Clippers locker room, center Clint Capela knocked on the front door of Clippers entrance. Someone opened door, saw him standing there — and shut it on him.

It’s pretty crazy how the Clippers and the Rockets might be the most heated rivalry in sports right now.

Update: Patrick Beverley fired a shot at the Rockets on Twitter after the game.
