Roman Reigns Suspended 30 Days For Violating WWE’s Wellness Policy, So Did He Spear Himself With Steroids?

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns lost his title to former tag team partner Seth Rollins at Money In the Bank on Sunday and now he’s lost 30 days of his wrestling career after being suspended for violating WWE’s Wellness Policy. The move comes one day after the announcement Reigns would wrestle Ambrose and Rollins in a triple-threat match at WWE Battleground on July 24th.

According to Sports Illustrated, this is Roman’s first violation.

“One failed test results in a 30 day suspension. A second failed test would result in a 60 day suspension. A superstar can be terminated after a third offense.

Most recently, Dean Ambrose cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, a title that was previously held by Reigns.”

WWE released a super short statement on the matter:

“WWE has suspended Joe Anoa`i (Roman Reigns) for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.”

They also embedded Roman’s apology tweet…

Of course, 99% of Roman’s female fans were supportive while the rest of WWE’s fandom called him a cheat. Still, there are some who believe Roman’s most recent reign “succeeded”.

The 1-time World Tag Team Champion and 3-time World Heavyweight Champion is a 7-time Slammy Award winner, mostly as part of The Shield. But, since the group’s break-up, his solo matches and career have been disappointing, prompting many fans to boo despite Roman being depicted as a face.
