Dan Dakich Absolutely Embarrassed Himself On Twitter Thanks To Ron Harper Jr.

It doesn’t take a whole lot to make Dan Dakich look ridiculous.

In fact, Dakich does it himself on a fairly regular basis.

But sometimes you just get a chance to take a layup. And as we all know, the great players don’t miss their layups.

Enter former Rutgers star Ron Harper Jr.

It all began when Dakich took a shot at Harper Jr., who expressed his displeasure with Rutgers leading scorer Cam Spencer entering the transfer portal in search of an NIL deal.

Who’s whining Dakich? Don’t tweet garbage like this but when you see me in person it’s handshakes and “how’s dad?” Miss me with all that.

Gee, who didn’t see this type garbage coming,” Dakich tweeted. “Ron Harper Jr is whining but this is what players, media wanted.”

Harper Jr. didn’t take kindly to that and immediately fired back.

Who’s whining Dakich? Don’t tweet garbage like this but when you see me in person it’s handshakes and ‘how’s dad?’ Miss me with all that,” he said.

“How’s dad”, of course, refers to Harper’s father, Ron Harper, who won five NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers.

He then elaborated on his disappointment with the Spencer transfer.

Dakich then took things to the next level in a follow-up tweet responding to Harper Jr.

“Haven’t seen your lil whiny a** in 5 years…tell your Dad hello and quit whining Harper JR or Sr or whoever you are.. you guys wanted to be treated like employees..you got it..stop the little kid whining, grow the hell up tell pops I said hello..grow a pair..kids these days,” he said.

Why he felt the need to wrongly use so many ellipses we do not know.

But that set Harper off, who fired back and ended the fight with a haymaker of a tweet.

“I seen you last year clown n all you talked about is how Bob Knight had you touching lines after pops torched your sorry a**😂😂😂 tough over the screen i got you Dakich keep that energy when you see me lil man🫡,” he said.

Well dang.

I don’t think Dakich expected Harper Jr. to come with receipts. But boy, did he ever.
