New York Mets fans are probably feeling a little bit depressed after watching their team fall behind 0-2 to the Kansas City Royals in this year’s World Series. Legendary wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper—R.I.P.—has a message for those who think that all is lost, though.
Same shit happened when the Mets played the Red Sox in the 1986 Fall Classic, so, back then, Piper got on the mic and reminded New Yorkers that it ain’t over till it’s over—and we all know how that series ended up.
29 years later, could Piper’s words help this Mets team turnaround the series? Maybe. At the very least, you’ve got to believe!
