Donovan Mitchell is officially the second player to test positive for the coronavirus less than 12 hours after teammate Rudy Gobert tested positive for Covid-19.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Jazz players are saying Gobert had been ‘careless in the locker room touching other players and their belongings’.

Before testing positive for the coronavirus, Gobert was seen mocking the illness by touching every mic in the media room on Monday.

Update: The Athletic’s Shams Charania Donovan Mitchell is the only other Jazz player to test positive for coronavirus.

Rudy Gobert has now posted a message on Instagram updating his status and apologizing for his actions.
