Last offseason, Davante Adams was traded from the Green Bay Packers to the Las Vegas Raiders to reunite with his college quarterback.

Unfortunately, that reunion hasn’t gone according to plan.

Despite another stellar season from Adams, Carr ended up being benched at the end of their first season together. The Raiders then tried to trade Carr and ended up releasing him when they couldn’t find a trade partner.

In the aftermath of Carr’s departure, there were reports that Adams was unhappy with the Raiders’ front office.

He denied those rumors, but now it looks like there could be some new ones about to start.

While his new team was busy dealing the quarterback Adams wanted to team up with and finding a replacement, Adams’ old QB went and found himself a new team as well.

Aaron Rodgers is a New York Jet now and now the Jets are working on putting together a roster that can win a ring.

The move they’ve been linked with so far is for Dalvin Cook, but it looks like they could soon be linked to an even bigger move.

According to FS1’s Craig Carton, there will be rumors coming out of Vegas that Adams wants out.

Carton also added that he would want to head to the Jets.

It wouldn’t be a surprise for Adams to want to team up with Rodgers again. The Jets are building a contender and Adams could have a better year with Rodgers throwing him the ball instead of Jimmy G.

However, there’s just about no way the Raiders would actually entertain trading him after just one year.

For now, this is just a rumor, but things could get interesting in Vegas if Davante Adams does actually request a trade this offseason.
