Rockets Fans Should Be Worried That Russell Westbrook Is Working Out With Kevin Hart

Let’s just say, for the sake of this blog, we all are in agreement that the NBA season will be returning to our world at some point this year. You are a Houston Rockets fan who is currently sitting in the No. 6 spot in the West at 40-24. Players coming back from the shutdown are expected to come back in tip-top shape and ready to ball, and you find out your star point guard has been getting his reps in with America’s favorite yet shortest comedian, Kevin Hart?

No disrespect to Hart here – although I am about to disrespect him – if you’re an NBA player, he may be the last celebrity you should be caught working out with. Isn’t the whole point of a workout buddy supposed to be to find someone who pulls about the same weight as you? Out of all the celebrities that must be in Westbrook’s phone he had to call up the 5-foot-4 Hart to get some agility going on a volleyball court?

What about like a Michal B. Jordan or a Jason Momoa to get some reps in with, I’m sure Russell has got their contact information somewhere. Call me crazy, but if I am planning on my team making any type of playoff push this year the last celebrity I want to see my star point guard training with is Hart.

Could you imagine if Rocky Balboa spent his training sessions with Kat Williams before his fights with Apollo Creed? I hate to be a ‘Debbie downer’ here, but maybe this could be the last and final sign that we aren’t going to see the NBA return in 2020.

PS- I really hope Kevin Hart doesn’t read this.
