Russell Wilson was the subject of a surprising report this week.

According to Fox Sports’ Shannon Sharpe, there are some in the Denver Broncos’ locker room that aren’t happy about special treatment Wilson supposedly gets.

The reported special treatment includes Wilson having his own office at the Broncos’ facility and multiple reserved parking spots.

Today, some players who have played alongside Wilson this season have come out in support of Wilson.

First, it was Jerry Jeudy who spoke out about the report.

Now it’s a former teammate who chimed in on the Russell Wilson situation. Melvin Gordon responded to Jeudy’s tweet with his own message of support.

Melvin Gordon spent the last few seasons with the Broncos before surprisingly being released after Week 11 this season. Before that, Gordon and Wilson had built a bit of a rapport, with the two connecting for 25 receptions for 223 yards.

Now Gordon has joined a division rival as he is currently a member of the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad.

There are clearly some issues with the Denver Broncos right now, but it looks like Wilson still has the support of some of the players he’s worked with most closely this season.
