Boxer Ryan Garcia is getting ready for his upcoming megafight against Gervonta Davis, as documented in his docuseries “Road to the Ring” on Youtube.
Before his big fight, Ryan took a night off this weekend to watch a little UFC action.
On Saturday night, Israel Adesanya pulled off a spectacular knockout against Alex Pereira at UFC 287 that left Ryan in shock.

We asked Ryan about his thoughts on Adesanya’s spectacular knockout win.
“I thought it was a very shocking moment. I definitely didn’t see it coming. I thought Alex (Pereira) was going to win. But it shows you can never get too eager, can never just jump in on somebody because they’re always waiting to strike. So it was definitely a moment to remember, I’m very happy for Izzy. I know he really wanted that moment very bad.”
Ryan was so impressed with Izzy’s win that he invited Adesanya to come sit ringside at his fight against Davis.
