Ryan Garcia Claims Positive PED Test Was Rigged Because He Supports Donald Trump

Ryan Garcia is trying to come up with an explanation as to why he failed a recent drug test.

On Wednesday night, it was revealed that Garcia tested positive for Ostarine, a drug banned by boxing commissions and considered a performance-enhancing drug, for his fight against Devin Haney which he won via TKO last week.

Haney released a statement bashing Garcia for having to resort to cheating to win.

“It’s unfortunate Ryan cheated and disrespected both the fans and the sport of boxing by fighting dirty and breaking positive not once, but twice. Ryan owes the fans an apology, and by his recent tweet he still thinks this is a joke. We put our lives on the line to entertain people for a living. You don’t play boxing. This puts the fight in a completely different light. Despite the disadvantage, I still fought on my shield and got back up. People die in this sport. This isn’t a joking matter.”

As for Ryan, he denies using PEDs and claims the tests were rigged because he’s a Trump supporter.

“They’re out to get me, that’s a fact. It’s funny I bring up all these things…how about Gaza? Protect Trump. All these things that I shouldn’t be saying, of course, they’re out to get me.

The NY State Athletic Commission has already put out a statement saying they were investigating the matter that could lead to Garcia getting suspended and his win against Haney overturned.
