Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier, who was discharged from the UPMC Rehabilitation Institute last month after suffering a major injury on a routine tackle against the Bengals back s in December. made a surprise appearance at the NFL draft tonight to announce the Steelers’ first round pick.
After Shazier’s appearance, Deion Sanders got exremely emotional and got choked up with conducting his post draft interview with Terrell Edmunds.

Shazier is still not out of the woods but the fact that he’s walking is a miracle considering most experts believed that he was going to be confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
