The biggest news surrounding the Chicago Cubs should be that they just signed Yu Darvish to a six-year, $126 million deal. But then erupted a much more intriguing story surrounding the Cubbies — Sammy Sosa’s new look. This is a much different look than his previous pink-hued Sammy Sosa that we saw last year or the vampire Sammy Sosa that we’ve seen in the past. The internet was treated to cowboy Sammy Sosa.
Sammy’s wife, Sonia Sosa, celebrated her birthday on Saturday with a cowboy-themed party. Being the good sport and loving husband that Sammy is, he went with the cowboy theme. Like, really, really went with the cowboy theme. At this point, Sammy Sosa resembles a host from Westworld more than the Cubs slugger who belted 609 career home runs.
