Legendary LSU Punter Accidentally Throws TD To 300lb Offensive Lineman On WILD Fake Field Goal

San Antonio Brahmas UFL Fake Field Goal Touchdown

The wildest touchdown in UFL history took place on Sunday afternoon. San Antonio Brahmas offensive lineman Alex Mollette caught a pass from his punter and scampered 40 yards for six.

It was electric!

San Antonio, a former member of the XFL, was one of the franchises to be picked for Dwayne Johnson’s United Football League, which also integrated the USFL. Its mascot stems from the American Brahman, a hybrid species of livestock that The Rock has long used as a personal mascot.

I digress.

The greatest play in UFL history took place on the first weekend!

The Brahmas faced 4th-and-11 from the 40-yard-line. They lined up for a 58-yard field goal attempt.

And then came the audible, which sent everybody into motion.

Legendary LSU punter Brad Wing moved from his spot as the holder to set up as the quarterback. He took the snap, rolled to his right and hung in the backfield for a moment.

Meanwhile, San Antonio’s 300-pound center (who was lined up as an eligible tackle on special teams) went streaking down the middle of the field. Mollette, who was dominant at Marshall, slipped his way into space and was wide open at the 20. Nobody covered him. The nearest defender was five yards away.

Wing let it rip over the middle. Mollette hauled it in, turned toward the end zone and got on his horse.

A D.C. defensive back caught him at the three-yard-line.

It looked like the dream was dead for a moment but Mollette wasn’t going to let that happened. He powered his way in for the touchdown.

The Brahmas coaching box went wild.

As did Mollette and his teammates!

Wing admitted that San Antonio never completed the fake field goal call during practice. He even said that Mollette was not the intended route. Everything came together, but not how it was supposed to.

There has never been a more exciting touchdown in UFL history. Yes, it has only existed for two days. Yes, this was only the fourth game of the new season.

Doesn’t matter. It will be hard to top an unplanned fake field goal punter pass to an offensive lineman!
