Everyone In America Mocks Scott Frost For Terrible Onside Kick Call In Week 0

Nebraska fans are not happy with Scott Frost. The once legendary Cornhusker QB is failing miserably as a head coach.

In four seasons with Nebraska, he’s just 15-29 as a coach. His teams have posted back-to-back three-win seasons which has put his job in jeopardy.

You’d think that someone coaching for their job would try his best to use good judgement in his season opener against an opponent that most believe his team should take care of rather easily. The Cornhuskers entered as two-score favorites against Northwestern.

But Nebraska has played like anything but a favorite, heading into the halftime break trailing 17-14. Northwestern’s last score was aided by a couple of questionable timeout calls by Frost as he hoped to make a defensive stop and get the ball back before the half.

It failed as the Wildcats converted a fourth down then drove down the field to take the lead.

But when the second half of play began, the Cornhuskers appeared to gain some momentum. They scored a pair of touchdowns to go up by 11 points when Frost made the most horrific call of the game.

Scott Frost trolled for onside kick call

After going up by two scores, Scott Frost called an onside kick. The kick failed miserably, and it led to an easy Wildcats touchdown. That 11-point lead turned into four quickly as it seems the Huskers head coach is doing everything possible to keep Northwestern in the game.

Fans blasted Frost for the onside kick call on social media.

The call could have a huge effect on the outcome of the game. If the Cornhuskers lose, Frost’s exit as head coach could be put on the fast track.

Nebraska currently leads the game 28-24 entering the fourth quarter of play.
