Scottie Scheffler’s incredible 2024 run continued this weekend as he landed his second Green Jacket with a win at The Masters. That means another payday – this time to the tune of $3.6M!
But Scottie Scheffler isn’t the only person getting paid. Caddie Ted Scott will also take home some dough thanks to his role in the win.
And that’s nothing new for veteran teammate, who’s now seen Scheffler finish first in three of his last four events. Since the start of the year, he’s finished Top 10 in eight of nine tournaments.
Scottie Scheffler has now made $12,653,735 in on-course earnings alone over the last 35 days.
That’s $361,535 per day.

Each time Scheffler lands atop the leaderboard, Scott gets a cut.
The Sun writes that the typical caddie payout amounts to 10% of the purse after a win, 7% for a Top 10 finish, and 5% for everything else. That comes on top of their annual salaries as they pay their own ways for travel and lodging throughout the golf season.
Reports suggest that Scott’s salary exceeds $100K, and on Scheffler’s three wins alone in ’24, he’s banked $1.2M on top of that.
How good has Scottie Scheffler been this year?
Based on the standard 10% cut for wins, his caddie, Ted Scott, has already earned $1.2 million this year.
That would place him 54th out of 200 PGA Tour players and ahead of guys like Viktor Hovland and Rickie Fowler.

For reference, that’s more than 159 players (out of 217) on the PGA Tour website.
Throw in those five other Top 10s, and Ted Scott is sitting pretty just four months into the year. The perks of pairing with the No. 1 golfer in the world!

Wanting to share the moment with Ted Scott, Scheffler waited for his caddie to catch up to him before completing the final steps of that stroll.
It goes to show how much the golfer values the man on the bag.
Scheffler and Scott teamed up in 2022 after the caddie’s 10-year stint with Bubba Watson. That, too, included a pair of wins at The Masters.
“Honestly, I’m just pinching myself,” Scott said after the win. “I’ve been very fortunate that great people will take me on as their caddie… I’ve worked with some incredible golfers… I’m just very fortunate.”
It seems he might have a little something to do with that success!
