Seahawks’ Earl Thomas Incredible Heads-Up Play To Force Fumble And Touchback Late In Game Against Rams

Late in the fourth quarter of the Rams-Seahawks game, Rams running back Benny Cunningham thought he had a sure touchdown until Seahawks DB Earl Thomas came out of nowhere to knock the ball out of his hands and force a fumble. The play was called a touchback and the Seahawks gained possesion of the ball.

IF Cunningham would have scored on the play, The Rams would have been down six points and in striking distance of the Seahawks with over five minutes to play in the game
