Seahawks safety Jamal Adams finds himself $50,000 lighter in the wallet, after he âdirected verbal remarks and made inappropriate physical contactâ with a sideline doctor during the Seahawksâ Week 6 game against the Bengals.
According to CBSâ Jonathan Jones, the NFL slapped the fine on Adams, citing interference with the orderly administration of the game.
An unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant was approaching Seahawks wideout Jake Bobo towards the blue medical tent for the standard concussion evaluation protocol, when Adams stepped in his way and interfered.
According to the report, thereâs video evidence of the incident with the doctor that the league looked into at before they dropped the fine on Adams.
This isnât the first time Adams has been in hot water. Just earlier in the month, on âMonday Night Footballâ, Adams had a shouting match with another independent doctor on the sideline when he was undergoing a concussion evaluation, but that isnât related to his fine from the Bengals game.
