Denver Broncos’ fans weren’t the only ones excited to see Sean Payton return to the sidelines to coach the team.

So was his daughter, Meghan Payton.

After the deal was done, Meghan retweeted and liked several posts about the move.

Meghan Payton has been a sideline reporter for Saints preseason games and now works for WagerTalk, in addition to hosting her own show on YouTube.

She even put her dad Sean on the spot during the first episode of her YouTube show Payton’s Plays last week, talking about where Las Vegas thought he would end up going to coach – despite his protestations. The Cardinals, Rams, Saints and Colts actually had better odds at that time than the Broncos.

The 27-year-old also has a social media presence on Instagram and TikTok.

Interestingly, she is engaged to Christopher Titone, Adam Sandler’s brother-in-law and the man who wrote Home Team – the film loosely based on her dad starring Kevin James.

Denver reportedly traded its 2023 first round pick from San Francisco (30th overall, which the 49ers got from Miami in the Bradley Chubb deal) and a 2024 second round pick to New Orleans for Sean Payton and the Saints’ 2024 third round pick.

Payton, 59, is the winningest coach in Saints franchise history with a 152-89 record (.631). He takes over a Broncos team that severely underperformed in 2022.

After trading for quarterback Russell Wilson and signing him to a five year, $242.6 million contract, Denver went 5-12 (.294).

Wilson had his worst season as a pro with career lows in passing touchdowns (16), completion percentage (60.5%), and QB rating (84.4).

The Broncos are hoping that Sean Payton can reignite Russell Wilson’s career after giving up three first round picks, three second round picks, a fifth round pick, tight end Noah Fant, quarterback Drew Lock, and defensive end Shelby Harris to acquire the QB and the former Saints coach.
