Seattle Storm’s Stefanie Dolson sent a clear message to Sophie Cunningham on Tuesday night.

Last week, Cunningham went viral when she spoke out against trans athletes competing in women’s sports.

“I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I’m like, ‘I never once said that,’” she says. “I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn’t have to go against biological men.”

Cunningham would later double down on her comments.

“I said what I said. I think it’s kind of common sense. … I think it’s really important to protect children.”

“I don’t dislike anyone. … I’m there to love, but I’m also there to love biological women.”

During her walkout, Dolson wore a shirt stating “Trans Rights Are Human Rights”, a clear shot at Cunningham and her recent comments.

Before the Fever-Storm game on Tuesday night, anti-trans protestors also held a rally outside the arena in support of Cunningham.
