Last month, on a national television show and in front of his hometown fans, WWE Champion Seth Rollins referred to Cleveland Browns roster name Johnny Manziel as “Johnny Idiot Face.”
Rollins explained on The Buzz with Jimmy Traina that the moment was completely ad-libbed by the WWE star and execs and Manziel. Manziel was just hanging out ringside and had no idea shots would be fired. Rollins told Traina the rip came out naturally because Manziel has such a dumb face.
“He definitely did not know it was coming, and it was certainly off the top of my head. Johnny was born with one of those faces that you just want to punch. You just wanna put your fist in his face. Maybe it’s the way he comes off. I don’t know. It just came to me when I saw him sitting there. It just seemed right.”
Manziel does has an incredibly punchable mug. I’m sure he’d even admit the same.
