There wasn’t much defense in the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday as it’s become a rather boring event for the league.

However, there was a moment when LeBron James blocked a dunk attempt from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

After the game, the Oklahoma City Thunder star had a message for him. According to Bleacher Report, Gilgeous-Alexander wasn’t happy with LeBron James blocking his dunk. Here is he sending a message to the future Hall of Famer.

It’s funny how making a defensive play warranted a fiery message like this. To be fair though, this was like, the only defensive highlight in the entire game.

Maybe LeBron James forgot he was playing in the All-Star game for a moment and his instincts kicked in.

Regardless, we’re kind of excited to see if Shai Gilgeous-Alexander can get James back in a regular season game. The Lakers are set to play the Thunder on March 1. So, Gilgeous Alexander will have an opportunity then.

Maybe he’ll go for a posterizing dunk, or perhaps he’ll block LeBron James’ shot in a game that actually matters. Either way, some fans are going to tune into that game to see. Even if both teams are a long shot to make the playoffs.

With that said, keep an eye out on this situation. If we’re lucky, maybe a little rivalry will form between LeBron James and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. It feels like the NBA could use more of those right now.
