Denver Broncos linebacker Shane Ray had a decent rookie year individually, totaling 20 tackles and 4 sacks, but, more importantly, he ended up playing for a historic defense that helped lead the team to a Super Bowl—which is always better than any personal stats.
Unfortunately, Ray—who hails from Kansas City—is getting a ton of shit from Denver fans after a recent post on his Instagram revealed some new ink that, get this, includes the Kansas City Chiefs logo.

Of course, it’s pretty understandable why Denver fans are ripping Ray’s decision to get one of their most bitter rivals’ logo on his back FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE, but, rest assured, the linebacker tried to explain himself to all the trolls questioning his decision, following up with a bunch of posts pledging his allegiance to the Broncos.

Is it dumb of Ray to have a tat that has a different team’s logo in it—especially one that’s in the same division? Sure. But, at the end of the day, dude’s just reppin’ his hometown and it doesn’t make any difference when he gets a paycheck that’s from the Broncos every month, so stop freaking the fuck out, Bronco fans.
