ESPN’s Shannon Sharpe isn’t a big fan of Jim Harbaugh and Michigan.

Earlier this week, Harbaugh declared Michigan “America’s team’ because they were able to overcome adversity to beat Penn State after their head coach was suspended amid a sign-stealing scandal.

“They’ve gotta be America’s team. America loves a team that beats the odds, beats the adversity, overcomes what the naysayers, critics and so-called experts think. That’s my favorite kind of team.”

Sharpe saw Harbaugh’s “America’s team” comment and was beside himself. During the latest episode of ESPN’s ‘First Take’, Sharpe blasted Harbaugh and Michigan.

“Americans don’t like cheaters, “They don’t. They want to believe that what they’re seeing at home is that that person beat you because he was better than you.”

“I don’t think he’s very likable. That’s just me personally,” “But for him to say, ‘we’re America’s team and it’s us against the world, because you created this.”

Michigan still has two games left in the season and are still in prime position to make the college football playoffs despite Harbaugh’s suspension and the sign-stealing scandal looming over them.
