And then there was Saturday’s game against UCLA.

Shedeur Sanders completed 27 of his 43 pass attempts for just 217 yards and one touchdown. It was his second-worst performance of the season thus far.

He is not to blame.

Shedeur Sanders is at the mercy of Colorado’s terrible offensive line play.

Colorado’s offensive line may be actively trying to kill their quarterback. Not literally, but metaphorically.

The Buffaloes have done a terrible job blocking. Especially against the Bruins.

The box score tells an ugly story.

Sanders spent the entire night trying to scramble for his life. There was nothing he could have done differently.

The 21-year-old was pressured 24 times and was hit on 17 occasions. 13 of those 17 hits knocked him down. He was also sacked six times.

Sanders looked miserable.

That simply will not do. Colorado will not win another game if its offensive line plays like it did at the Rose Bowl!

And it’s not just Sanders. UCLA’s defense tallied 10 tackles for loss. The Buffaloes were held to just 25 yards on the ground. Yikes.

There are a lot of different things that have attributed to Colorado’s four losses. Its offensive line is the most glaring issue at the moment.

Coach Prime said so himself after the game.

The big picture, you go get new lineman. That’s the picture and I’mma paint it perfectly.

— Deion Sanders

Sanders doesn’t have any time in the pocket to do what he does. The running backs have nowhere to go.
