More Draya Michele drama. According to new court documents, sheriffs came to her home in Los Angeles when her ex-boyfriend, New York Jets quarterback Tyrod Taylor, recently tried to have her evicted.
In the court documents obtained by In Touch, Draya Michele said she received an “alarming phone call from her children’s nanny while she was away on a business trip that the sheriffs were at the subject property to lock the occupants out of the subject property.”
Reportedly, she called her lawyer who succeeded in halting the eviction. Following that, she learned that Tyrod Taylor’s company had filed an eviction lawsuit against her that she claimed to have been aware existed.
Draya Michele claimed that she neither was served with the paperwork, not informed of the lawsuit by Taylor or his attorneys. Because she failed to appear in court for the lawsuit, a default judgment had been entered.
She had previously filed a lawsuit against Tyrod Taylor, claiming that he had agreed to sell her the home for $3.2 million and that she has been paying rent of $19,000 per month in addition to spending $270,000 on home improvements.
Taylor disputes her claim and his attorney said only a “unsigned lease, an unsigned purchase agreement, and emails evidencing at most negotiations for the possible purchase of the subject property” has been submitted as evidence of any deal.
Michele, who is no stranger to controversy, has since amended her lawsuit and re-filed it.
Earlier this year, the 39-year-old Basketball Wives LA star confirmed rumors that she was pregnant with Boston Celtics star Jalen Green’s child.
Reaction to that news led to people like Joe Budden referring to her as a “predator” for getting pregnant by Green, who is 17 years her junior.
“If you want to f— a 21-year-old, cool. But now you got a baby by a 21-year-old? You are a predator,” Budden said on his podcast.
