Deion Sanders’ son Shedeur gets a lot of attention because he is the starting quarterback at Jackson State and made history as an HBCU player during award season last year. Understandable.

However, Sanders’ son Shilo might be just as good as his younger brother, if not better.

As a three-star recruit in the Class of 2019, Shilo signed with South Carolina out of high school and recorded 32 tackles in 13 games over two seasons with the Gamecocks. Although he may have received increased playing time as an upperclassman in Columbia, he transferred even further south when his father took the head coaching job at Jackson State and earned Second-Team All-SWAC honors last season.

During his first year with the Tigers, Shilo made 39 tackles (28 solo) and tied for second in the conference with four interceptions. Now, as he gears up for his second year in Mississippi and redshirt junior season, he is pulling up to practice in style.

Shilo signed an NIL deal with Porsche at the end of July and will serve as a brand ambassador for the German automobile manufacturer that specializes in luxury, high-performance sports cars, SUVs and sedans. By signing on to be an ambassador for Porsche, Shilo received a brand new whip in return.

He showed off his new wheels on Instagram:

Most college kids would not have been able to afford a Porsche prior to the NIL era, but the legal ability to be compensated in return for ambassadorship, partnership, appearances, and promotional efforts has allowed top players and big names to cash-in on their talent. Shilo is one of them.
