Shilo Sanders Sent To The Shadow Realm By Much Smaller Receiver With Vicious Stiff Arm: VIDEO

Shilo Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes were victorious against Arizona State on Saturday night and moved to 4-2 on the season. However, Deion Sanders‘ team did not look impressive in a three-point win over a bad Sun Devils side.

Although Shedeur Sanders was quick to flex his luxury watch in the face of the opposing student section after the game, his father turned right around and trashed his own players for their poor play. They never should have had to escape with such a narrow win over such a bad team.

After missing last weekend’s loss to USC because of some bloody urine, Shilo was back on the field during Week 6. Despite missing a game, Coach Prime’s middle son continues to be the Buffs’ leading tackler alongside Omarion Cooper with 26 solo tackles and six assists on the year.

As the team’s starting safety, Shilo is a crucial backstop to prevent big plays. Defensive coordinator Charles Kelly also likes to use him in various stunts and occasionally puts him in single coverage.

No matter where Shilo lines up, he’s always talking his talk.

For the most part, Shilo also walks the walk. His six solo tackles, tackle for loss, and sack against Arizona State was a crucial part of Colorado’s win.

Unfortunately, Shilo was also on the wrong end of the most embarrassing highlight of the night.

At 6-foot-0, 195 pounds, there is no reason that he should struggle against smaller receivers. That was not the case on Saturday.

5-foot-9, 185-pound wide receiver Melquan Stovall buried Shilo six feet under with a stiff arm during the second quarter. It was vicious.

Shilo made Stovall look like Derrick Henry despite having three inches and ten pounds on the pass-catcher.

He got got.

Shilo is fortunate that the Buffs went home victorious, because the stiff arm news cycle will blow over much faster than if they had lost. It also helps that he played well overall.

Still, though… Shilo getting BODIED by a much, MUCH smaller wide receiver is a tough look.
